Full time position based in Knox County. Work involves supporting victims of crime through the Collaborative Response to Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse (CREVAA) program and compliance with the guidelines and performance standards. Victims of crime are screened and supported in compliance with the CREVAA program standards. Individual will be working occasionally with individuals at the highest level of law enforcement including District Attorneys and Chief Law Enforcement officials at the state, county and city level. Will be responsible to conduct home evaluation visits with reported victims of crime who are elderly or above age 18 with physical or developmental disabilities and work in the office to support other CREVAA staff to manage follow-up calls, arrange for services, and assist with coordination efforts including supporting volunteer development activities.
Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a B.A. (B.S.) Degree in Social Services or closely related field. Must have valid Tennessee driver's license. Considerable knowledge of the regulations governing support service programs; strong interpersonal, organizational and decision making skills; good presentation skills; or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
