Employment Status: Part-time (up to 29 hours)

Hourly rate:             $10.40

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination and delivery of a variety of social services for eligible clients for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program.
• Compliance with the guidelines and performance standards.
• Take applications for services, assists clients with obtaining needed services, assists with the distribution of commodities and making referrals to other social service agencies as necessary.
• Maintain records and logs of activities, contacts, and follow-up services and ensuring the proper completion and documentation of applications for variety of social service programs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited four year high school or GED.
• Considerable knowledge of emergency services and CSBG funded programs.
• Considerable experience working with the public, strong interpersonal, organizational and decision making skills; good presentation skills; or
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Valid Tennessee Driver license.
