Marketing & Communications Manager

Location:                 Knoxville, Tn

Employment Status: Full-time

Annual salary:          $55,000


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plans, manages, and executes marketing, advertising, communications, and public involvement and community relations efforts to increase usage of transportation services and raise awareness of the value of Public Transportation.
  • Serve as the Transportation Department's primary spokesperson to the new media.
  • Direct transportation's market research
  • Oversee customer information efforts and transportation publications
  • Direct programs with employers, schools, and community partners.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four year college with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or related field; or
  • Two years of experience in marketing and public relations;
  • Good organizational, interpersonal skills and decision making skills; or
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered
  • Valid TN driver license.
