East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (ETHRA) has been dedicated to assisting, serving, and giving back to families in the community since 1974.

  • Yearly, transportation provides mobility to approximately 46,353 citizens in a sixteen county area who need access to services, employment, medical, etc. in our community.

  • Weatherization assists low-income households in reducing their fuel costs.

  • Senior Nutrition provides a nutritious meal to persons age 60 and their spouses.

  • Single point of entry program for aging services.


CSBG Program Tech. II

Full-time position to work in Tazewell.  Assist with the coordination and delivery of a variety of social services for eligible clients for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program.  Responsible for taking applications for services, assisting clients with obtaining needed services, assisting with the distribution of commodities and making referrals to other social service agencies as necessary.


Graduation from an accredited four year high school.  Considerable knowledge of emergency services and CSBG funded programs; considerable experience working with the public, strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills; or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.  Must have a valid Tennessee driver license.
