Adminstrative Support Specialist

Location:                 Knoxville, Tn.

Employment Status: Full-time

Hourly rate:             $21.03

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible work involving the coordination of operations for the Executive Director of the agency including assisting with the functions of the Board of Directors.
  • Preparation of reports, memoranda, and correspondence for the Executive Director.
  • Assist with activities associated with special projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with the coordination of Board agenda including the recording of minutes and maintaining accurate records of all official meetings.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four year high school supplemented with additional coursework in office administration, or closely related field;
  • Considerable experience working with the public;
  • Considerable experience working with computerized software applications;
  • Knowledge of acceptable business writing and grammatical practices utilized for correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and dedication attention to details; or
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Valid TN driver license.
